A  r ecent research has shown that many young people worldwide are opting for internet-related jobs. This includes jobs like influencing, digital marketing, or remote jobs. They argued this generation is lazy and would rather spend a whole day surfing on the internet than working. This research must have been carried out by African parents, who think the internet is a waste of time, part of which is true even though the internet has not failed to prove itself useful. Parents are mad because this is that one thing, they have failed to control. They are jealous our life is much better and full of fun compared to their 80s. They seem to not accept that you can learn about what is happening in Iran without watching Aljazeera. Have you tried watching world Today? You will get depressed; all they talk about is which western country should host Afghan immigrants. Sharing people like a bunch of bananas. Imagine listening to that for two hours, sick. This is why the youth prefer T

9 Peculiar Kenyan habits

Proud to be a Kenyan? If there is one thing you would never fail is spotting a Kenyan, here is a list of peculiar Kenyan habits.

1.      Recycling yogurt cans to be used as tumblers and toothbrush holders, you will never miss these cans in any Kenyan home, either holding the brushes or used to serve drinks.

2.       Referring to tumblers as glasses, you just learned right now that those things you use to drink water are not glasses, you only use the word glass to refer to those made of glass.

3.      Crazy and unrelated comments, posting is one thing, commenting is another, it is only in Kenya where posts made and comments don’t relate, you will post on an accident and the comments will be, ‘this has really changed my life’, ‘how does this affect our economy’, ‘I just wanted to say I have no comment.’ Why would write you have no comment? Just shut up!

4.      Obvious queries, this is in your blood, you can not help from asking foolish questions, ‘khai ni wewe umeandika hii’ while it literally has your name on it, ‘kweli ni wewe’ like how many you are there … just answer them ‘apana ni huyo mwingine.’

5.      Believing that drinking a lot of water helps you mind your business, this is actually unwise, drinking a lot of water only makes you pee a lot, in short, time you use minding other people’s business you will be busy peeing.

6.      Cleaning clothes on Saturday, don’t clothes get clean on Monday or Thursday or any other day other than Saturday?

7.      Calling toothpaste Colgate and powder detergents Omo, come on Colgate and Omo are brand names. You will still call it Omo, won’t you? Do you.

8.      Getting united to troll other countries, nothing unites Kenyans like social media fights against other countries, they set all their differences aside and unite to fight the ‘enemy’.

9.      Waking up early to listen to gospel music on Sunday, God is happy with Kenyans on Sundays, you wake to listen to gospel songs  like it is written in the constitution, this just happens, other genres are boring on Sunday morning.

Which one do you think I left out?  Leave it down there at the comment section
