Couch Potatoes

A  recent research has shown that many young people worldwide are opting for internet-related jobs.

This includes jobs like influencing, digital marketing, or remote jobs. They argued this generation is lazy and would rather spend a whole day surfing on the internet than working.

This research must have been carried out by African parents, who think the internet is a waste of time, part of which is true even though the internet has not failed to prove itself useful.

Parents are mad because this is that one thing, they have failed to control.

They are jealous our life is much better and full of fun compared to their 80s. They seem to not accept that you can learn about what is happening in Iran without watching Aljazeera.

Have you tried watching world Today? You will get depressed; all they talk about is which western country should host Afghan immigrants.

Sharing people like a bunch of bananas. Imagine listening to that for two hours, sick.

This is why the youth prefer Tiktok to CNN, they would rather watch Kinuthia transform himself to a she and con men fare.

What is wrong with spending the whole day analyzing who wore what at the met gala even though you have never set foot in a fashion or design class.

Watching the Met gala was not for nothing, after all, it confirmed that rich people’s taste is garbage.

Clearly, Lil Nax had trouble deciding which outfit was best, he changed every fifteen minutes. He was not pregnant after all.

I understand them if you were also invited to the Met Gala, you would not know what to wear, a room full of the world's famous people, who can afford all the clothes and shoes. It should take a year, a day is torture.

I pity their stylists who try to incorporate a thousand messages in a single outfit.

When it comes to worst, trying to make a black leather see-through to help Kim Kardashian walk around without knocking drinks.

Parents should see what they are missing, instead of worrying about the Covid-19 jab, they should be happy Justin Bieber wore baggy trousers, isn’t that what parents do, buy big clothes to cut the budget in case you grow faster.

I would not imagine a day without the internet, the research was right about wanting to work from home but not the lazy part, we are just looking for ways to make life tolerable, why would you travel for a conference while you could just use zoom and attend at the comfort of your bed.

Just because we are doing things differently does not mean we are couch potatoes. There is no reward for suffering.

Adios…
