A  r ecent research has shown that many young people worldwide are opting for internet-related jobs. This includes jobs like influencing, digital marketing, or remote jobs. They argued this generation is lazy and would rather spend a whole day surfing on the internet than working. This research must have been carried out by African parents, who think the internet is a waste of time, part of which is true even though the internet has not failed to prove itself useful. Parents are mad because this is that one thing, they have failed to control. They are jealous our life is much better and full of fun compared to their 80s. They seem to not accept that you can learn about what is happening in Iran without watching Aljazeera. Have you tried watching world Today? You will get depressed; all they talk about is which western country should host Afghan immigrants. Sharing people like a bunch of bananas. Imagine listening to that for two hours, sick. This is why the youth prefer T

Consistency is key...

Why is being consistent such a struggle? Consistency is key, at this point it does not matter who said that, just know
it is vital in everything you do or are forethinking.

Being consistent means doing things that will at some point annoy you, like waking up every morning and going to that job that you hate so much but you have to because you need the pay.

Running every morning to keep fit even though your muscles hurt so much and it upsets you that even a simple exercise like laughing make your physiques complain.

You wondering where am headed with this consistency gospel, thinking that I have become an inspirational speaker overnight. I am upset at my self for not being consistent at what is chief and how I am majoring on minors.

I have not been writing neither do I feel like, for reasons not known even by myself.

I'm doing it anyway..

This whole thing of quitting after two seconds of promising yourself how you need to invest on something occurs to all and sundry.

You remember that time in school when you scored five in Maths and two in chemistry and decided there and then how you would make a timetable and become disciplined enough  only to forget two days later.

You  returned to your old bad reading habits and in the next test you scored poorer, I won’t mention the marks…five and two was poor, poorer would mean …

This one time when you overheard a speaker emphasizing on being consistent, from your savings to work to personal development to relationships. You promised yourself to do better you even broke up with an inconsistent partner…that is how deep the message  sank.

Then two weeks later its all forgotten and you back to your disgusting old self who still cried after breaking up with the same boyfriend for the tenth time and mishandled money only to go broke in the same week you received it.

I would go on and on and on, being inconsistent is part of most of us, being disciplined is such a tussle that involves willpower and resilience.

What to do

Am no expert or councilor am here for moral support, whenever you want to quit on something just remember why you started it in the first place.

Let it be because you chose to do it, having a choice makes you enjoy what you do, to harness the courage to keep going we need to get to the right path and reflect on what you want to accomplish at the end, wrote Greg Mckweown.

ADIOS…
